The tempting confrontation of the outer shell allures with the neon bulbous phrases. Yet the curious notion for knowledge of the inside captivates or deters. What is marked “brave” is the act of selflessly nurturing the inside. Are you brave for loving? Or intruding to abandon?
Temptation to touch, know what’s inside.
Struggling to open, see what hides
Shock of pain inside to hear
Will you stay to lend an ear
Are you brave for pushing through?
Or are you scared to look past you?
